LG has no plans to bring the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop release to its brand new G4, the company has confirmed. Users are now stuck with the software that was pre-installed on their G4 until it gets Android M, but there’s no word on when that’ll happen.

Following overheating headaches with its latest Snapdragon 810, Qualcomm will reportedly switch manufacturers for its next-generation Snapdragon 820.

Samsung has been chosen to build the chipset using its new 14-nanometer manufacturing process, a new report claims, and it will do so with custom CPU cores that will deliver speeds of up to 3GHz.

Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 has beaten out the iPhone 6 and other flagship rivals in a “real-world” performance test. The device came first in six out of nine challenges, which tested for things like Wi-Fi speed, camera load time, gaming performance, and video editing.
