Just as expected, Samsung today unveiled a bigger, better version of the Galaxy S6 edge alongside its new Galaxy Note 5. It’s called the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it has a larger screen, more RAM, and a bigger battery.

The all-new Galaxy Note 5 is here, and it’s just one of two new phablets Samsung is launching over the coming weeks. The device brings a gorgeous new design that takes cues from the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and plenty of nice improvements under the hood.

Samsung’s new phablets aren’t the only thing we got out of its Unpacked event in New York City today; the South Korean company also announced a launch date for its new mobile payments service. Samsung Pay will be coming to take on Apple Pay in the U.S. on September 28.

Samsung’s Unpacked event is about to kick off live from New York City, and fans of the Galaxy Note series are going to watch to tune in. We’re expecting the new Galaxy Note 5 to make its debut alongside the Galaxy S6 edge+ — and possibly even more.
