Pebble is now rolling out software version 2.4 — a vital firmware update for both the metal and plastic models of its smartwatch. The upgrade is being distributed via the official Pebble Companion application and transports WhatsApp compatibility, new developer support and a large quantity of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.

Samsung promised us a smartphone made from “new materials,” and while it hasn’t shunned tacky plastic altogether, its new Galaxy Alpha is a huge step in the right direction. It’s the South Korean company’s first smartphone with a metal frame, and at just 6.7mm thick, it looks great.

Google-Now-cards

Google is in the process of quietly rolling out a server-side update for its official Search application via the Play Store. Once updated, users will be able to receive train and bus reminders from their Gmail reservations. They will also notice that flight cards now produce information about alternative travel measures when delays occur.

We’ve been hearing an awful lot about Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Alpha, for some time now. Five variants of the handset have been confirmed to date, the SM-G850A, SM-G850H, SM-G850M, SM-G850T and the SM-G850F — which has now its been exposed as an LTE-Advanced model.

Google-Play-Music-All-Access

Earlier today, Google launched its Google Play Music All Access streaming service in Ecuador, Guatemala, Uruguay, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, El Salvador and Nicaragua. However, there have been some reports suggesting that the service is not yet live in all nine countries.
