At IFA 2014 in Berlin today, Sony added two new smartphones to its flagship Xperia family in the form of the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact. Both sport stunning designs with aluminum frames sandwiched between glossy glass panels, as well as speedy Snapdragon 801 processors, HD displays, and high-end cameras.

Samsung isn’t the only company announcing big things at IFA 2014 in Berlin today; Sony is also there to showcase its latest additions to the Xperia lineup — one of which is the Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet. It’s one of Sony’s smallest slates to date, and it comes with PlayStation 4 Remote Play, allowing you to play your latest games away from the living room.

Samsung didn’t just announce one Galaxy Note at its Unpacked event in Berlin today, but also a second with a crazy curved display. It’s called the Galaxy Note Edge, and although its similar to the Galaxy Note 4 internally, it’s still unlike any smartphone you’ve ever used before.

At its Unpacked event in Berlin today, Samsung announced its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 4, which makes its flagship phablet family even greater. It’s packing a 4.7-inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel camera, and 3GB of RAM — and it’s the first Galaxy Note device with a metal chassis.
