Every smartphone maker promises us great photos from its latest devices, but few Android handsets are actually capable of taking them consistently. That’s not the case with the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, which are just as impressive as Samsung said they would be.

In the latest DxOMark tests, the trusted industry standard for camera and lens quality ratings, the Galaxy S6 edge’s 16-megapixel camera beats out the iPhone 6, the Galaxy Note 4, and all other competitors with top marks.

Nokia has denied it has plans to re-enter the smartphone market in 2016 with new Android-powered devices. The Finnish firm says recent reports quoting a company official are false — but it doesn’t rule out new smartphones completely.

Nokia has confirmed that it will be reentering the smartphone market in 2016 with new devices powered by Android. The handsets will likely be manufactured in Sichuan, China, where Nokia will also relocate its research and development center.

During its quarterly earnings call this week, Google confirmed that it has seen a “decline in Nexus” sales in recent months. The fall is being attributed by some to the Nexus 6, which couples a super-sized display with a high price tag.
