Epson today announced the world’s first Android-based see-through wearable display. While their target market appears to be age groups 55 and over, thanks to the solar shade design, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Underneath their geriatric exterior, you’ll find quite a youthful lists of specs that allow users to view streaming video, experience side-by-side 3D content and enjoy downloaded digital content on a virtual 80-inch perceived screen. Last week Motorola was prepping a mysterious “soak test” for Motorola XOOM WiFi users. It now appears Motorola was getting ready to release Android 4.0.4 as they are sending emails out to let owners know. There’s no mention of when the update will begin rolling out but given the email, it should be soon. The update includes quicker screen rotation, camera improvements, improved stability and more. Anyways, Clarion has unveiled the first Android-based OEM grade car stereo and is in talks with a few major automakers to have them come standard in select models. These Froyo (yea, I know) packing AVN style double-DIN players will have all the features you crave in a car stereo.

Samsung has announced this evening that they’ve shipped a surprising five million Galaxy Notes in only five month’s time. The 5.3-inch phablet has received a lot of attention from Samsung, ever since it was launched overseas in October. Samsung touted the larger screen and stylus, and even showed it off during the Super Bowl.

Google has been long rumored — since 2006 in fact — to launch a new cloud storage offering, called Google Drive. In fact, just last month the Wall Street Journal reported it was close to launch. Now, GigaOm reports, from unnamed sources, that Google is planning on launching Google Drive during the first week of April.
