Google is rolling out a nice new update for its official Clock app that finally gives you the ability to resize its home screen widgets. The company has also tweaked the design of its digital clock, and fixed some pesky bugs.

Qualcomm has unveiled a new Snapdragon chip designed specifically for wearable gadgets. It’s called the Snapdragon Wear 2100, and it promises to allow thinner and more powerful wearables with better battery life.

So far, Google’s experiments in virtual reality have mostly been done through Cardboard, the search giant’s super-cheap device that can convert any smartphone into a VR rig.

But Cardboard isn’t the limit to Google’s ambitions, with the Wall Street Journal today reporting that the company is developing a standalone virtual reality headset.
