LG has made a wise decision to halt all tablet development in favor of focusing on its smartphones. LG is already a company lagging behind in the mobile wars, and frankly, releasing any Android tablet other than the Nexus 7 at this point, is like tossing it straight into the recycling bin.

Google’s VP of Product Management, Bradley Horowitz, announced that Google has partnered with Flipboard to integrate Google+ streams into the popular magazine-styled reader. Google+ will join Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and a host of other social services available on Flipboard thanks to new extended APIs. This new integration is a great step forward for users, especially those who enjoy accessing all of their social content from a single app such as Flipboard.

You know the spiel: “Hit iOS game comes to Android, blah, blah, blah…” I personally can’t stand when developers feel the need to sell their app to Android users by touting their “success” on iOS, but if it helps their game get noticed, then so be it. Developers Free Lunch Design have apparently had some success on iOS with their labyrinth game Dark Nebula, and while that’s great and all, let me tell you a little about the actual game (you know, things like gameplay, features, etc.), instead of how well it did on iOS.

It’s safe to say the majority of us already know the story behind Peter Parker and how he came to be Spider-Man. In case you aren’t familiar with this iconic story, Gameloft has released a prologue video to not only familiarize you with the history, but to show off some more in-game footage.

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your homescreen can thank us later. Cheers!
