Earlier today, a well known and trusted leaker announced on his social networking profiles that Sony’s latest mid-range phablet, the Xperia T2 Ultra, will indeed be launching on T-Mobile in the United States later this year. Obviously, this latest revelation is only a rumor, and although the source is usually extremely reliable, it should still be taken with a pinch of salt as, after all, it may never happen.

Yesterday, HTC U.K. tweeted a post bringing to our attention the Desire 816, with its 13MP rear-facing camera, it 5.5-inch HD screen and its dual-frontal speakers, evidently confirming that the handset will, indeed, be heading to the United Kingdom at some point in the not-too-distant future.

HP unveiled its budget-friendly Slate 7 back in February, 2013, and two months later the device was available to purchase in the U.S. from several retailers for $129.
