HP Slate 7 Now Available For Under $100

HP-Slate-7-back

HP unveiled its budget-friendly Slate 7 back in February, 2013, and two months later the device was available to purchase in the U.S. from several retailers for $129. However, if you haven’t had the opportunity or the wherewithal to pick one up before now, it might interest you to know that Walmart is currently offering the device with a $30 discount — so you can pick one up for $99.

In terms of internals, the Slate features a 7-inch FFS+ LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, a 1.6GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), a 3.15-megapixel rear-facing camera, BeatsAudio integration, a VGA front-facing shooter and a 5,000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

The tablet ships running the latest build of ‘Vanilla’ 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and, unfortunately, isn’t expected to receive any updates.

No coupons or codes are necessary for this promotion. All you have to do is visit Walmart’s user-friendly website and purchase your HP Slate 7, then at checkout $30 will be deducted from the usual price.
