Memory capacity aside, the handset will sport a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset powered by four 2.5GHz Krait 400 central processing units, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing shooter equipped with optical image stabilization together with a beefy 2,800 removable Li-Ion battery.

Whatsmore, the S5 will be Samsung’s first smartphone to ship running Android 4.4.2 KitKat straight out of the box skinned with the latest version of the South Korean company’s TouchWiz user interface — which it claims ‘is the easier way to use your device, giving you intuitive control over everyday tasks’.
