Archos launched its first Android-powered gaming tablet, the Gamepad, back in 2012, and to be completely honest it wasn’t very impressive, particularly when compared to the beastly NVIDIA Shield. And now, thanks to a leaked listing from a Hong Kong based outlet, we have reason to believe that the French consumer electronics company is in the process of designing and manufacturing a re-vamped successor to the original Gamepad, with some pretty impressive specifications.

Yesterday, at an event in Beijing, OPPO announced its third Android-powered smartphone of 2013, the N1, which comes packed with some pretty impressive specifications, and a mass of unique new features that no other devices on the market currently offer, one of which being the official support of CyanogenMod.

The U.K. supermarket chain, Tesco, has officially announced its first budget-friendly low-end 7-inch tablet, the “Hudl,” which will ship running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The device is available to purchase with an affordable price tag of £119 and Tesco Clubcard holders will be able to obtain the slate through their “Clubcard Boost” program, which will enable them to pick one up for as little as £60.

Yesterday, Sprint officially announced that it will be offering Samsung’s much-anticipated flagship smartphone of 2013, the Galaxy Note III, together with its companion device, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch from Friday, October 4.
