CoA-CES-2014 Pebble is holding a press event in Las Vegas now, however, unlike LG’s and AT&T’s conferences, reporters at the Consumer Electronics Show will not be allowed to attend this event. Instead, it will be broadcast live on the Internet for all to see and enjoy.

Who remembers HTC’s Droid Incredible 4G LTE? Well, Verizon finally has. The operator has at last posted the official update documents for its first major maintenance upgrade in just under two years. The paperwork reveals that update version 2.19.605.2710RD is scheduled to bring some new applications, as well as a truckload of stability improvements, security patches, bug fixes and speed optimizations.

In the midst of its press conference ahead of CES in Las Vegas, this morning, LG let slip that its first curved flexible smartphone, the G Flex, will indeed be coming to AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile during Q1 of 2014, thus confirming weeks of leaks, rumors and speculation.

Alcatel One Touch has today announced a trio of affordable Android-powered devices; one smartphone and two ultra-portable tablets. The Idol X+ is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, with a design not dissimilar to previous Idol devices. Whilst both the Pop 7 and Pop 8 tablets are aimed at the lower end of the market.

AT&T has again broadened its horizons by expanding its 4G network coverage across Texas and launching the availability of its “super fast” LTE signal to Stephenville, TX as part of its three-year Project Velocity IP (VIP) investment plan, which is aimed at improving and enhancing both broadband and 4G network access across the whole of the United States.
