The HTC One is five months old now, and we’re still waiting for it to come to Verizon. But that move looks a step closer this week after the carrier erected a new sign up page on its website for those hoping to get their hands on the device as soon as it’s available.

Verizon confirmed it would be carrying the HTC One back in June — several months after it went on sale with AT&T — and no one really knows why it’s taking so long for the company to actually start selling it.

A leaked roadmap recently revealed that the device would be available on August 29, and that looks increasingly likely now that Verizon’s sign up page is live. You cannot pre-order the HTC One just yet, unfortunately, but you can submit your email address to “get the latest information about the HTC One on the Verizon network.”

That means as soon as the device is finally available to order, you’ll get an email to notify you.

Aside from a big Verizon logo on its back, above the Beats Audio logo, the Verizon HTC One is identical to existing models. It looks the same, and it has the same 1080p LCD3 display, Snapdragon 600 processor, UltraPixel camera, and BoomSound speakers.
