Sony added the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact to its smartphone lineup at IFA last week, and they’re the best devices the Japanese company has built so far. At IFA 2014 in Berlin today, Sony added two new smartphones to its flagship Xperia family in the form of the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact. Both sport stunning designs with aluminum frames sandwiched between glossy glass panels, as well as speedy Snapdragon 801 processors, HD displays, and high-end cameras.

Samsung isn’t the only company announcing big things at IFA 2014 in Berlin today; Sony is also there to showcase its latest additions to the Xperia lineup — one of which is the Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet. It’s one of Sony’s smallest slates to date, and it comes with PlayStation 4 Remote Play, allowing you to play your latest games away from the living room.

Twitch, the hugely popular video streaming service for gamers, today announced a new SDK that will allow Android and iOS developers to integrate Twitch into their games. It will give users the ability to broadcast, capture, and archive their gaming sessions on their smartphones and tablets.

PlayStation-App

Sony’s new PlayStation companion app is now available on Android and iOS ahead of the PlayStation 4′s worldwide launch this month. The app allows you to access the PlayStation Network on the go to view your notifications, invitations, game alerts, and (finally!) messages; as well as your friends list, trophies, and profile.
