The BBC has today unveiled a new weather app for smartphones running Android and iOS. Available to those in the U.K. and Ireland, it’s powered by Met Office data and provides all kinds of information that’ll help you plan for the day ahead, including hourly forecasts, and data on UV, pollen count, humidity, and more.

It’s super quick to add new notes to Google Keep on Android, thanks to its handy widgets. But wouldn’t it be nice if the service was easier to access on your desktop? Well, now it is, thanks to the Google Keep Extension for Google Chrome, which lets you add notes and access your existing ones with just one click.

Google has constantly been working to improve Google Now since the feature made its debut in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it often adds new cards and new features that enhance its functionality. The latest is recipe recommendations. Like other Google Now cards, these will appear after you’ve been searching Google for recipe ideas.

HTC-M7-leak

The upcoming HTC M7 has been pictured out in the wild ahead of its official unveiling. Not only are these the clearest shots of the device we’ve seen to date, but they also show off its new Sense 5.0 user interface, and a new button arrangement beneath the display. This isn’t believed to be a final version of the device, but it’s likely to be the closest we’ll get until its official unveiling.

LG has finally begun rolling out its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Optimus G, almost seven months after Google first announced the platform update. The update is currently reaching handsets in South Korea on the SK Telecom network, but those in the United States shouldn’t have to wait too long for it. As you’d expect, this release brings a number of new features that will significantly improve the performance and user experience of your handset.
