Angry-Birds-Space-Splash

Angry Birds SpaceĀ for Android and iOS has today received yet another big update, introducing a brand new galaxy with 30 new levels. It’s called Splash, and every planet is filled with water, strange aquatic life, and pigs in boats. The update also promises the “ultimate under water boss level.”

Android-4-Jelly-Bean

Motorola has confirmed that its Android 4.1.2 upgrade for the Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX will begin its official rollout during the first quarter of 2013. The software first made an appearance on a small number of handsets back in late December, but Motorola quickly ended its rollout without explanation. Now it won’t be long before it’s moving again.

Sony has today announced its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade plans for Xperia smartphones released during 2012. The Japanese company is hoping to deliver its latest software to at least six handsets by the end of March 2013, then another four handset in the “subsequent weeks.” There are four Xperia handsets that won’t be upgraded beyond Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, however.

Here’s a little treat for all you Tumblrs out there. The Tumblr app for Android just received an update to finally add tablet support! Along with support for tablets, the Tumblr app received a few design changes as well as a new Following screen.

One of the standout features of the Galaxy Note II happens to be its Multi Window view. Unfortunately, not every Note II model currently has this feature available to it. T-Mobile has been dragging its feet with the update but will finally push it out to users come this Wednesday December 19th.
