Titanium Backup has received a significant update on Google Play bringing initial support for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the implementation of data exclusion for Media Storage and multiple bug fixes to improve the fluidity of the application.

Remember that cool iOS 7 Control Center port for Android that hit Google Play earlier this month? Well, Apple obviously didn’t like it, and it has contacted Google to have it pulled. Fortunately for us, developer Hi Tools Studio has already released an updated version to Google Play, so go grab it before it disappears again.

Did you notice a nice performance improvement after installing the new Android 4.3 update on your Nexus devices? That’ll be partly due to the fact that Google finally introduced TRIM support in this release, allowing devices to recycle unused storage after apps and other content have been deleted from your device.

People who were lucky enough to get their hands on Google’s new Nexus 7 prior to its launch date of July 31 are being prompted to download two new software updates right out of the box.

Android 4.3 isn’t exactly Google’s most exciting update to date — most of its changes take place under the hood — but it does come with a snazzy new wallpaper that you will have seen in all of the promotional shots for the new Nexus 7.
