Samsung has today added two new tablets to its Galaxy Tab 3 family which will join the 7-inch model that launched back in May. One of them has an 8-inch display and is “designed to be held in one hand,” while the other has a 10.1-inch display for an “amplified multimedia experience.”
EE, the U.K.’s first and only 4G carrier, has confirmed to Cult of Android that it will carry the Galaxy S4 Mini from launch. The device will be available on EE’s super speedy 4G LTE network, as well as its 3G networks under the Orange and T-Mobile UK brands.
We had expected Samsung to announce the new Galaxy S4 Mini at its London event on June 20, but it appears the Korean company couldn’t wait that long to show of its latest smartphone. The Galaxy S4 Mini is now official with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, and LTE connectivity.
Samsung CEO JK Shin expects the Samsung Galaxy S4 to surpass 10 million sales next week, less than a month after its debut. The milestone will make the new device the fastest-selling Samsung smartphone to date, a title that’s currently held by its predecessor, the Galaxy S III.
