The HTC One E8 is now available in the U.S. on Sprint. This the slightly cheaper alternative to HTC’s flagship One M8, but it comes with a lot of the same specifications. The biggest difference between the two is that the One E8 has swapped aluminum for a more affordable plastic form factor.

Fashionably late, as usual, Sprint has at last started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.4 update to all its carrier-branded Moto X handsets currently located in the United States. In addition to the latest build of the open-source operating system, this upgrade also brings an updated dialer application, the means to pause video recording within the camera app, and the habitual bug fixes and stability improvements.

Sharp’s jaw-dropping Aquos Crystal, a 5-inch smartphone with almost no bezel around its display, is now officially coming to Sprint. The device will cost just $10 a month with nothing to pay upfront on a two-year contract, or you can buy it outright for $149.99 on Boost or Virgin Mobile.

It’s now easier than ever to root your LG G3, thanks to a new one-click root solution called Stump Root. The hack supports all G3 handsets on U.S. carriers and some international ones as well — including the Sprint model, which, until now, had no root solution at all.
