It appears some Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners are being treated to an Android 4.0.4 IMM76K update today. While there’s been no official announcement of the update, it is indeed rolling out as Droid-Life users have been sending in screenshots to back up their claims (even a Verizon store unit was spotted rocking the update). I’ve been checking all day but to no avail.
Our friends to the north received some good news from Samsung today. According to Samsung Canada, owners of select Galaxy devices will begin receiving their Android 4.0 updates starting today. A total of nine devices were listed in Samsung’s announcement and while only a few will see Ice Cream Sandwich today, Samsung will continue updating them all throughout the quarter.
