While Samsung’s smartphone sales may be falling, those who are buying its devices couldn’t be happier with them. In a new satisfaction study, the South Korean electronics giant beat even Apple to the top spot of the smartphone category, while Nokia ranked higher than BlackBerry, LG, and even HTC.

Smartphone shoppers awaiting Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A series can now purchase both the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 off-contract in the U.S. Prices start at $349.99 for the Galaxy A3, while the Galaxy A5 — which is bigger and has better specifications — costs $409.99. Samsung has taken a bit of a beating as of late, thanks to the decline of its mobile division, but that doesn’t stop us from noticing that these new pill-shaped speakers from being absolutely gorgeous.

Scheduled to be properly unveiled at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, the speakers are designed to project sound in a 360-degree radius, using Samsung’s proprietary “Ring Radiator” technology.

There are two speakers set to be introduced in the range: a larger model called the WA7500, which is described as a “stand type” and the lantern-style WA6500, which features a built-in battery and is more easily movable. Both speakers are wireless, utilizing Bluetooth technology.

We’ll have full details when we get a closer look at CES (along with the other gadgets on display at the much-anticipated tech show), but for now this is a great sneak peak at a line of speakers that is already filling us with envy. Check out more images after the jump:

Rumors surrounding a newer, faster Galaxy Note 4 were true, it seems, after Samsung today announced an even better version of its flagship phablet less than four months after the original made its debut. The newer model has a faster 64-bit processor and snappier data speeds thanks to LTE-Advanced connectivity, but you shouldn’t feel too disappointed if you’ve already adopted its predecessor.

Samsung may have failed to deliver its Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 before Christmas for the vast majority of users, but millions across Europe will see it before the New Year. The update is currently rolling out over-the-air in Spain following its initial debut in Poland earlier this month, while other European countries can expect to see it soon.
