It has long been rumored that the Galaxy S5 will be available in multiple variants, each with different specifications. According to a new report, Samsung will launch the slightly “underpowered” 1080p model first, then follow it up with another model that boasts a QHD (2560 x 1440) display.
A new rumor claims that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will be dust- and water-resistant, just like the current Galaxy S4 Active. The information comes from sources close to Samsung, who claim to be familiar with the South Korean company’s plans.

The South Korean company has today teased a new LED flash module on its blog that “will be used in the next Galaxy smartphone.”
A sample image taken with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S5 all but confirms that the new handset will feature a 16-megapixel real-facing camera. The otherwise boring photograph was taken with a “Samsung-SM-G900A,” according to its accompanying EXIF data, and it boasts a 5312×2988 resolution.
