Google is winding down summer by discounting a bunch of great apps in the Google Play Store. If you head to the store now, you’ll find hit titles such as Rockstar’s Max Payne on sale for $.99 (67% off). They haven’t dedicated a section for the sale just yet, but if you search for “End of Summer Sale,” you’ll get a list of results. Some other great apps on sale include:

The most expensive app I’ve ever purchased is now on sale for half the price. The SlingPlayer app has been discounted by 50% across all mobile platforms and can now be had for $14.99. This deal applies to both the tablet and phone apps and is well worth the price to have your full home cable service in the palm of your hands.

If you happen to be a member of BJ’s wholesale club, you’ll be happy to hear they have a one-day sale going on for the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T, as well as the Keyboard Dock accessory. If you act fast, you can pick up the TF300T for $369.99 and the dock for $109.99. That’s around a $30 savings individually, $60 savings if you grab both. That’s one of the lowest brand new retail prices I’ve found, and not that bad of a deal considering the TF300T features:

In two days, Sonic the Hedgehog will be celebrating his 21st birthday. While Sonic goes out and parties like it’s 1999, SEGA will be discounting all digitally available Sonic games for you and I to enjoy. For a limited time, you can head over to any of the following gaming/app stores and enjoy the great deals being offered by SEGA.

When a couple of EA games mysteriously went on sale, I assumed it was an extension of EA’s Games For Guys promotion, but it looks like I was wrong. Apparently Google unleashed its own “Longest Day Deals” promo today, discounting a slew of apps and games to an amazing $.99. Starting today and running until Thursday June 21, you’ll be able to search through the catalog of “Longest Day Deals” and pick up more mobile software for under $10 than you ever imagined.
