If you’re planning to make Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 5 your next smartphone, here’s a helpful warning you definitely don’t want to forget: Inserting its S Pen upside down with break your phone.

Unlike with previous Galaxy Note devices, the fancy new S Pen with the Note 5 can easily be inserted the wrong way around, but doing this can cause the S Pen’s detection feature to be broken unbelievably easily, and could prevent it from being removed altogether.

A removable battery and microSD card slot are two things we’ve long associated with Samsung devices, but since the South Korean company killed them both for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, long-time Galaxy Note fans have been worried they’re in for the same treatment.

Now new images of the Galaxy Note 5 confirm those fears.

Samsung’s $200 Gear VR is compatible exclusively with the Galaxy Note 4 for now, but that’s going to change over the coming months.

Sources say both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge will support the virtual reality headset when they arrive in March.

At its Unpacked event in Berlin today, Samsung announced its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 4, which makes its flagship phablet family even greater. It’s packing a 4.7-inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel camera, and 3GB of RAM — and it’s the first Galaxy Note device with a metal chassis.
