More rumors have surfaced surrounding the mythical Samsung Galaxy S III. These latest rumors come from Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin. Eldar had much to report about the unannounced device, including a Mobile World Congress debut to be followed up by an April launch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note, in all of its 5.3″ glory, had a strong presence at CES this year. The announcement of it coming stateside on AT&T had many giddy with anticipation, while others wondered who in the world would want such a large “not quite a phone, not quite a tablet.” Whether or not this device appeals to you doesn’t diminish its intrigue and it seems other US carriers are now taking interest. According to an “industry analyst” that spoke with the Examiner, the Galaxy Note will definitely be available to Sprint and Verizon subscribers, possibly under a different name:

“It will possibly be called the Galaxy Journal. But it is certainly coming to both Sprint and Verizon during the first half of the year,” said Los Angeles Industry Analyst Paul Mueller.

Google has consistently teamed up with manufactures to debut new Android software versions in a pure “Google Experience,” void of any manufacturer overlays. We’ve seen this with the smartphone Nexus line, as well as with the Motorola XOOM tablet. When it comes to Google TV however, there were actually two companies that had first crack at it, and as you already know, that didn’t go so well. For Google’s next version of Google TV, they’d like to make a better impression, and rumor has it that they may team up with LG to deliver it.
