The incredibly popular CyanogenMod ROM is finally available on the international LG G3 (D855) — as well as the Nexus 6 and devices included in the Android One program. The new “nightly” builds, which are based on Google’s latest Lollipop software, can be downloaded now for manual flashing.

The original Moto G Google Play Edition has now been dropped from the Play Store, leaving the HTC One M8 as the only Google Play Edition (GPE) device that’s still standing. The move comes four months after the second-generation Moto G first went on sale in the U.S., but it doesn’t look like Google has any plans to make the new model a GPE smartphone.

OnePlus has been promising its own Android software for a while, and that’s exactly what it delivered to kick off 2015. The new custom ROM, which is currently in alpha, is based on pure Lollipop and can be flashed using the TWRP custom recovery.

If you’re a Galaxy Note 3 user, you’re going to be waiting a little while for Samsung’s Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update; the company is focusing its efforts on bringing the update to more recent devices first. However, if you really cannot wait, you can download and install a beta build right now.

If you don’t want to wait another day for Google to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade for your Nexus 4, why not grab the firmware package yourself and flash it manually? The process is actually much simpler than it sounds; you don’t need to root your handset or unlock its bootloader, and all of your data will remain intact.
