No sir, that’s not an Apple store you’re looking at, that there is a bona fide Samsung store. What looks like an episode of Punk’d, is actually Samsung’s first Canadian retail store in Metro Vancouver. This 140-square-metre store is located in Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown and offers a plethora of Samsung’s latest mobile devices, as well as demo stations to see how they function and interact with other Samsung products such as TVs.

If you’re a fan of Android mini-collectibles but never seem to be quick enough to grab them when they go on sale, we’ve got some good news for you. It appears boxes of non-limited Android mini figures have been shipping out to retail stores. Next time you’re out and about, you may want to check your local Urban Outfitters, FYE, or Barnes & Noble.

Yesterday Bloomberg got a hold of a filing that shows our favorite company may be planning to open a stand-alone retail store at its European headquarters in Dublin. According to the local planning application, the store would be open to the public and sell unspecified “Google Merchandise.” Up until now, Google has only had their one merchandise store in California, but that one is closed to the public. Other than that, Google’s only other attempt at selling products in-store has been their Chromebook store inside of a London branch of Currys and PC World.
