This next move is likely a direct result of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the tremendous success its been having. The HTC One X is a great device that just happens to be overshadowed by the Galaxy S III and it’s unfortunate, but that’s the way it goes. Dropping the price to $99 (on contract) is a brilliant move that will hopefully breath life back into consumer interest for the One X. I won’t lie, I myself, would choose the Galaxy S III over the One X and I think that’s what AT&T, HTC, and other carriers are noticing.

Apparently a few HTC One X owners have been experiencing fluctuating WiFi signals based on how they “hold the phone.” A familiar issue if you may recall the whole Apple Antennagate. It appears to only affect the quad-core Tegra 3 versions of the HTC One X, but nevertheless, it is discouraging. We’re not sure exactly how many devices are affected, but HTC has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix.

The HTC One X has had quite the bumpy U.S. release, and thanks to some unfortunate events at Customs, was delayed for a bit. HTC’s newest device has been missing from AT&T since the fiasco and ITC review, but it appears everything is kosher now, and the HTC One X is back in stock and ready to be ordered.

AT&T’s first ever Android 4.0 device will be hitting shelves in just a couple weeks and comes with a reasonable price tag of $199 on a two-year plan. That’s right, the highly anticipated HTC One X will be launching on AT&T May 6, with pre-orders beginning this Sunday. The HTC One X is HTC’s latest top-tier phone and the big daddy of the One series.

You’ll have to act fast if you’d like to get your hands on an unlocked Tegra 3 HTC One X. For the next 14 hours, Daily Steals is offering the Tegra 3 version of the HTC One X for $629.99. While that’s still a lot of coin, it’s the best deal going right now, and best of all they’re available and ready to ship.
