Apple finally turned on Apple Pay in the U.K. this week as part of its push to make 2015 ‘the year of Apple Pay’, but it may soon face competition from its biggest rival, Samsung.

In preparation for a full roll out later this year, Samsung has begun testing its contactless payment service, Samsung Pay, at select locations in South Korea starting on July 15th.

Did you completely forget about Samsung Pay? Well, it’s still kicking. After a significant delay, the official launch is coming in a couple of months and Samsung is allegedly wrapping up tests to ensure it works properly.

Samsung is testing its Apple Pay competitor with eight different card companies in South Korea and is set to go live there as well as in the United States this September.

Samsung has baked a long list of hidden features into its latest version of TouchWiz that aren’t available by default on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge — such as call recording, Wi-Fi calling, the ability to schedule text messages, and support for VoLTE.

But if you’ve already rooted your handset, you can enable them manually.
