Galaxy-Young-Fame

Samsung has today added another two smartphones to its Galaxy family in the form of the Galaxy Fame and the Galaxy Young. Both mid-range devices are to offer Android on a budget, and their optional dual-SIM capabilities make them ideal for those who frequently use their smartphones for both work and play. Samsung will be showcasing the devices at Mobile World Congress later this month, but we have the full specifications for both below.

That slightly odd looking device above is called the Constellation Ti, and it’s the first Android handset from luxury smartphone brand Vertu. It hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s already been appearing in benchmark tests and regulator databases in Singapore and Macau. Several pictures of the device — showing off all four variants — have also been published online by one Russian retailer.

The Constellation Ti is expected to get its unveiled at Mobile World Congress next month, and like all other Vertu handsets, it’s likely to cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Apple has made the iPhone more enterprise-friendly with almost every release of iOS, but some might say the company’s popular smartphone still isn’t ideal for business. When I say “some,” I mean Samsung. The Korean company just released a strange new advert to promote the enterprise features of its Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, and it couldn’t help but bash the iPhone and even BlackBerry devices at the same time.

If you’ve recently purchased a Galaxy S III Mini and you’re disappointed it doesn’t have NFC connectivity, then look away now. Samsung has confirmed that a new version of the device, with NFC equipped, will be launched in the United Kingdom before the end of January. The update will give the Galaxy S III Mini Samsung’s S Beam system, as well as W-Fi Direct support.
