Verizon appears to be on an SD removal kick. We saw them do it with the DROID RAZR and now they’re doing it with the DROID Bionic. You can now grab a DROID Bionic without the extra 16GB microSD card for $99 on contract. This move shouldn’t bother anyone as you can still add your own microSD card should you need the extra storage. At least now, you can catch a break in price on a 4G LTE device that sports a dual-core 1GHz processor and a 4.3″ 960×540 qHD display.

As we get closer to March, we should start to see companies outline their plans for upgrading devices to Android 4.0. Many have already done so, including Motorola, but today Motorola has expanded on their list of devices, adding a few new ones to the list. While actual dates for upgrades remain open, we at least know that Motorola plans to upgrade the following devices:

If cupid’s arrows happened to miss you this Valentine’s day, don’t worry, Mr. Motorola has loaded up his quiver with 20 DROID 4 arrows and he’s ready to start spreading the love. Over at Motorola’s Facebook page, you’ll find a DROID 4 Valentine’s contest with a few simple instructions.

The guys over at pocketnow.com got a hold of some renders showing what could possibly be Motorola’s first Intel powered smartphone and it’s running Android 4.0. Although there’s no way of telling whether or not the Medfield chip will actually be powering this device, or if the device will even look like this, we’re supposed to get a look at it this month at Mobile World Congress.

A few days ago we reported Verizon would be offering “buy-one get-one” on Motorola DROID RAZRs as well as bringing back their double data promo this Friday. Well, it’s Friday, and sure enough, the deals are now live and part of Verizon’s Valentine’s Sale.
