Apple-vs-Motorola

In a surprising move, Apple and Google have decided to drop all lawsuits charges against each other as reported by the Wall Street Journal, ending a long court-room battle. The best thing about the Motorola Moto G is that it’s terrific value for money. For less than $200, you get a device with a snappy quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 720p display, and a capable 5-megapixel camera. But if you give it a Kevlar backplate and slap a few Ferrari logos on it, that price tag quickly inflates.

The new Ferrari Edition Moto G is almost double the price of the original, and yet internally it’s exactly the same.

The Moto G is one of the most impressive Android-powered smartphones on the market. It’s cheap, feature-packed as well as pleasing to the eye, but something it lacks is LTE compatibility — which is rather disappointing. However, it looks like that’s about to change. A recent online listing reveals that Motorola is in the process of manufacturing another variant of its reasonably-priced handset which is capable of handling universal LTE bands which you can preorder starting today for just $219.
