Google today published a bunch of new ads for Android Wear, showcasing features like voice search, traffic information, and the ability to send text messages from your wrist. This is the search giant’s first big marketing push for the Android Wear platform since it made its public debut back in June.

Motorola has just begun issuing invites for a “Moto Launch Experience” in Chicago on September 4, where the company is expected to finally launch the much-anticipated Moto 360, and launch new devices. Its animated invite all but confirms two new smartphones, plus some kind of headset.

Motorola’s Moto G2 will go on sale on Wednesday, September 10, according to a new report. The second-generation device is expected to come with a larger 5-inch display and a much-improved, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Motorola’s upcoming Moto X+1 could have surprisingly stellar specifications, according to new benchmarks. The device was expected to a midrange offering much like its predecessor, but it may well have internals to take on high-end devices like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8.

Motorola has been keeping the Moto 360’s charging method a secret since its first unveiling earlier this year, but new photos of the device reveal its unique wireless charging dock for the first time. Unlike the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live, the Moto 360 doesn’t appear to have any external connectors on its back, and it’s a great bedside clock while it’s charging.
