LG Korea has officially unveiled the much-anticipated G Pro 2, the upscaled successor to its previous flagship smartphone of 2013. Unfortunately, the South Korean company did not provide us with an official launch date for the 5.9-inch phablet, but it did hint that it will be on display at this year’s Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled to take place in just eleven days time on Monday, February 24, 2014, in Barcelona, Spain.

Windows Phone is over three years old now, but its app catalog still looks pretty slim when compared to rival offerings from Apple and Google. In an effort to plug the gap, Microsoft could allow Windows and Windows Phone users to run Android apps — just like BlackBerry 10 does.

Geeksphone-Revolution

We’ve been expecting a price tag and launch date for the Geeksphone Revolution for a while now, and today we finally got them. The world’s first dual-booting handset, which runs both Android and Firefox OS, will go on sale next Thursday, February 20, priced at €289 ($395).

HTC-One-Plus-case

Earlier today, we published leaked pictures of the upcoming HTC M8 — the second-generation HTC One. Until now, we’ve had no idea what the device will actually be named when it gets its unveiling this March, but according to one accessory manufacturer — which is already selling official HTC cases for the device — it’ll be the HTC One Plus.

HTC is set to announce its second-generation One — codenamed the “M8” — in March, but like a lot of the devices that came before it, the Taiwanese company has been unable to keep it under wraps until the big day.

Photos of the device that have surfaced online this week reveal a mysterious new sensor that sits above the handset’s rear-facing camera — plus a dual LED flash. The overall look of the handset itself, however, will be almost identical to its predecessor.
