Samsung is finally bringing its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to the international Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295), more than a month after it made its debut on the AT&T version. In addition to performance improvements and several design tweaks, this release adds support for wireless printing, the ability to change the default messaging app and launcher, and more.

1Password 4, the incredibly popular password manager from AgileBits, is finally coming to Android next month. Designed for both phones and tablets, the full-featured app will resemble its iOS counterpart, and it will be completely free to use… until August 1, 2014.

Pusbullet

If I could only install ten apps on my Android device, Pushbullet would almost certainly be one of them. Not only does it mirror my notifications on my Mac and PC while I’m at my desk, but it also makes it super easy to share files and photos between the two.

And thanks to its latest update, Pushbullet now mirrors notifications across all of your Android devices — so you can get your SMS, WhatsApp, and Snapchat alerts on your tablet as well as your phone.

Galaxy-S5-unable-to-download-update

Samsung pushed out a new software update for the European Galaxy S5 this morning — it the flagship’s first and it comes just over a month after it went on sale for the first time. But lots of users are unable to download it because “the server has reached its daily download limit.”

Thankfully, it’s easy to sidestep this error and get your hands on the South Korean company’s latest software. Here’s what you need to do.

Motorola

Motorola is currently rolling out a rather hefty update in the Play Store for its browser-based notification app, Connect. The upgrade now allows users to view and respond to both multimedia and group text messages directly from Google Chrome on their PC or Mac.
