LG officially introduced us to its latest affordable mid-range smartphone, the F90, at MWC, yesterday. Unfortunately, the South Korean company did not provide any information with regards to pricing and availability, but a recent leak suggests that the handset will be heading to Europe in just under a month.

LG-G2-KnockOn

Two months later than expected, AT&T has today started pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat over-the-air update to all of its carrier-branded LG G2 flagship smartphones located in the United States. In addition to the latest build of the open-source operating system, this upgrade also improves battery efficiency, enhances the Knock On feature and, finally, increases the processing speed by a whopping 17%.

Mobile-World-Congress-MWC

Mobile World Congress 2014 kicks off on Monday, February 24, and Cult of Android will be live from Barcelona. In addition to regular posts covering all of the announcements, we’ll also be running a live blog throughout the event that will bring you the latest from the show floor.

So not only will you get breaking news and hands-on coverage of the latest products, but also an insight into what it’s really like to attend MWC. Here are some of the things we’re expecting.

Nexus7-9530

Google will wait until July to unvel its new Nexus 8 tablet with Android 4.5, rather than using the Google I/O event in June to make new product announcements, an inside source claims. The new tablet is expected to become Google’s main focus for Android 4.5, while the smaller Nexus 7 will apparently be killed off entirely.

LG-G2-mini

Yesterday, LG officially unveiled the G2 Mini a scaled-down variant of its flagship smartphone, the G2, which made its debut appearance back in August, 2013. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen very much of the mini, except for the press renders that were published yesterday, but, thankfully, LG is now looking to publicize its latest mid-range device and has started this process by uploading an official teaser video on its YouTube channel today.
