With the current Kindle Fire HD almost a year old now, we’re expecting Amazon to unveil its successor in the coming weeks. And according to leaked benchmark results, it could be a significant improvement, with the latest quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and a high-resolution 2560×1600 display.

No, there isn’t an error in that headline — Samsung really is producing Galaxy S II variants still. But the Galaxy S II TV, which has been unveiled in Brazil today, shares little resemblance with its siblings. It’s smaller, it’s slower, and its camera isn’t as good, but it does have dual-SIM support and a telescopic antenna that picks up local television channels.

After its first press shots were leaked on Tuesday, we knew it wouldn’t be long before Samsung made the Hennessy official. And now the Korean company’s first Android-powered flip phone can be found on its Chinese website.

The Hennessy boasts two 3.3-inch displays — one on the front and one inside — plus a quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Samsung’s upcoming Android-powered flip phone, the Galaxy Folder, has been leaked a number of times in recent weeks, so we already know exactly what it’s going to look like. And now we have some early press shots that all but confirm its final design.

Also known as the Galaxy Hennessy, this device is set to be a midrange smartphone with a traditional numeric keypad, and it’s likely to remain in South Korea and other Asian countries where flip phones are still popular devices.

Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-2-7-0

Samsung has today begun rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in the United Kingdom. The update is reaching the Wi-Fi only device with the “GT-P3110” model number, and it’s available to download over-the-air or via the Samsung KIES desktop application.

In addition to Android 4.2.2 features like lock screen widgets and Daydream, the update also adds new TouchWiz features and widgets that were first introduced on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4.
