The wait for the HTC One mini 2 is over. The downsized version of HTC’s latest flagship got its official unveiling today, and as expected, it is just as beautiful as its big brother. Like its predecessor, however, it packs midrange specifications in an effort to be more affordable — but there are some treats under the hood.

Time to upgrade your smartphone? You may want to hold onto your cash. At the end of the month, LG will unveil its new G3, and according to these leaked press shots, it’s going to be an absolute stunner. In fact, I’d even go as far as to say that its almost bezel-less design could give the HTC One M8 a run for its money.

If you’re a flagship smartphone buyer who hasn’t already adopted the Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8, or the Sony Xperia Z2, chances are you’re probably patiently awaiting the LG G3 instead. That’s the case for a lot of people, thanks to the success of last year’s G2.

Fortunately, that wait is nearly over. LG plans to announce its new flagship on May 27 in London, and to remind you what’s in store, the company today released a new teaser video that focuses on the handset’s design and impressive camera technology.

As promised earlier this year, HTC is in the process rolling out the first batch of its eagerly-awaited Sense 6.0 over-the-air (OTA) update to all unlocked models of its former flagship smartphone, the One (M7), currently located in Canada. This upgrade also brings a few other major improvements, including a new camera app, enhanced BlinkFeed, Extreme Power Saving mode and a transparent status bar.

It was just over a week after the Galaxy S5 went on sale worldwide that we first heard rumors of a “premium” model that would soon be following it, and since then, the “Galaxy S5 Prime” moniker has been popping up all over the place. It has appeared yet again this week in the unlikeliest of places.
