HTC is extremely proud of the new EVO 4G LTE and wants to give consumers an inside look at what went into designing this soft touch, hairline finished, kickstand beast of a phone. It’s a neat look into the design process and shows that they don’t just slap on any old chassis and call it a day. There’s been a lot of complaints about the glossy top half on the back of the device as most users seem to prefer the soft touch, but we’ll have to wait until we actually have it in our hands before we can make an official judgement.

3D technology has reared its 3-dimensional head inside the hardware of only the bravest of OEMs. HTC was the first to test the waters with their EVO 3D but it failed to impress, receiving only lukewarm reviews. While the rest of us wait to get our hands on a bastardized version of the HTC One, our friends across the pond can pick up the real McCoy today from their favorite carrier. UK carriers O2, Vodafone, Three, Orange, and T-Mobile are all taking orders online as well as selling these One series phones inside their brick-and-mortar compounds. Prices and plans will of course vary depending on carrier, so do your research and see which is best for you.
