As soon as the Nexus 7 became available for pre-order, Android enthusiasts flooded the site, looking to grab Google’s Tegra 3, Android 4.1 sub $200 tablet. Of course if you’re an Androidian or Googlite, this was a no brainer, but what about consumers outside of the cultists? Turns out they’re just as interested in Google’s Nexus tablet as we are. How do I know this? Well, I don’t… but you’re supposed to believe everything on the internet, so believe it.
You knew this was coming. As soon as Jelly Bean was announced, hackers got started. It took less than 24 hours for developers B16, jdkoreclipse and Team Liquid to have a working build for all models of the Galaxy Nexus. This is the preview build from I/O so it may have some kinks but so far feedback has been positive. We’re only moments away from Day 1 of Google Google I/O 2012 but that doesn’t mean the leaks have to stop. The Verge managed to snatch a look at a Google Nexux 7 banner to be displayed on the Google Play Store and boy is it, well… you can be the judge. All I can say is holy bezel Batman!
