Google finally brought its Google Now Launcher to the Play Store this week, breaking its exclusivity on the Nexus 5 and allowing anyone with a Nexus or Google Play Edition device to get their hands on it. But what if you have another Android-powered smartphone?

Well, you can download and install the launcher yourself.

Late last night, Google officially announced the expanding availability of its Google Search service, Google Now to include an additional 3 new languages, Japanese, German and French. Obviously, you’ll need the latest version of the Google Search app installed on your device to use the service, but once that’s done you’ll be able to ask questions in these three newly implemented languages, as well as English and receive spoken results.

Back when Google unveiled the Nexus 5, it previewed an upcoming feature for the Google Search app that would allow users to directly open search results inside of relevant apps, rather than taking to their website.

So, if a user would search for a movie name on Google search for Android, he would get an option to directly open the search result inside the IMDb app.

Google Search for Android received a nice new update this week, which adds a whole bunch of new Google Now cards and features that’ll help you keep up with your favorite websites, get movie and TV recommendations, and find interesting articles from around the web.

Google is in the process of rolling out a rather helpful new update for its official Maps application, bringing users “quick access” to flight, hotel and restaurant reservations – providing they are linked to your Google account.
