Google is giving those in Europe and Australia the chance to save when they buy a Nexus 5 and an LG G Watch. From now until September 16, the search giant will slash £60/€80/AUS$100 off your purchase when you buy both devices together through Google Play.

Reddit’s official Ask Me Anything app is now available for Android, just days after it made its debut on iOS. The app makes browsing AMA threads on a smartphone or tablet a much more enjoyable experience, and it alerts you when popular AMAs are trending so that you can stop by before they end.

Google is currently in the process of distributing a much-anticipated visual overhaul for its official Chrome for Android client via the Play Store. In terms of added functionality, the upgrade brings a multitude of bug fixes, stability improvements, speed optimizations and a Material design makeover, which we first caught sight of on the Chrome Beta last month.

For today’s Tuesday Tweak, we’re focusing our attention on DashClock, a very flexible third-party notification app, which incidentally recently passed the three million installation milestone. The application is available to download on any smartphone or tablet running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher, and provides users with the facility to view detailed notifications on both their home screen and lock screen.

Facebook today became the first third-party Android app (not build by Google) to surpass 1 billion installs from Google Play. It’s even more popular than a number of Google’s own apps, including Hangouts, Google Search, and even Chrome.
