Huawei-Ascend-P6ISO-2800-2

Today, Huawei discreetly released a slightly more powerful version of it’s flagship smartphone of 2013, the Ascend P6. The revamped handset’s design appears to be identical to the original smartphone, though the technical specifications on the Chinese manufacturer’s website suggest that the S version is actually 0.3mm thicker, but things get a little bit more interesting when you start to look at the internals.

Huawei unveiled its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Ascend Mate 2, at CES in Las Vegas just a few days ago, and now an independent Chinese retailer is selling the factory unlocked version for 2,688 Yuan, which is approximately $445.

Just a couple of days after its press conference at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Acer unveiled its latest ultra-affordable Android powered tablet, the Tab 7, as a cheaper alternative to its mid-range Iconia A1-830, which was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show. However, unlike the latter, the Tab 7 is already on sale in China with a price tag of around $99 — that’s a whopping $50 cheaper than the A1 is expected to cost when it finally hits the shelf.

Huawei took center stage at CES in Las Vegas today to present its flagship smartphone of 2014, the Ascend Mate 2 4G. It’s the OEM’s first handset to be optimized for LTE networks all over the world, including AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States.

Galaxy-Note-3-Merlot-Red

Samsung’s newly-announced Galaxy Note 3 in Merlot Red is now on sale in South Korea, exclusively through SK Telecom. The device is compatible with SKT’s LTE Advanced network, which promises speeds around 20 times faster than those of 3G.
