Not only will you save yourself $150, but you’ll also gain the largest 4G LTE network around (opposed to Sprint’s non-existent LTE network). This is a great deal for anyone looking to join Big Red and I’d certainly jump on it if I hadn’t already sold my soul to Verizon months ago.

After a lengthy wait, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is finally available for pre-order on Sprint. It’s slated for an April 22 launch, and while it’s the second LTE phone announced to launch on the 22nd, Sprint’s LTE network remains MIA. We’re assuming Sprint’s failure to get LTE up and running is the reason behind the long wait for the Galaxy Nexus, but at this point, I can’t see why anyone would pick this up at the current price Sprint is offering.

Verizon continues to blanket the US with 4G LTE while the rest of the carriers desperately play catch up. We’re quick to complain about Verizon’s high prices but at least they’re putting that money to work. Today, Verizon announced it will be expanding its 4G LTE reach in ten California markets as well as Reno, Nevada within the coming weeks. 3G will soon be a thing of the past for those living in the following California cities:

Vodafone and Samsung have finally made Ice Cream Sandwich available to Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S II users. Starting today, users will be able to update to Android 4.0.3 via Samsung’s Kies software. For those who can’t be bothered with Kies, you’ll have to wait another few days before Vodafone begins pushing the update OTA.

Don’t let the fact that Sprint’s LTE network isn’t yet up and running stop you from pre-ordering the first LTE device scheduled to launch on The Now Network.
