Check any of the recent iPhone 5 vs Android comparison charts and you’re sure to find the HTC One X listed alongside the best of them. It’s a solid device which would have experienced better sales if it hadn’t been for the Samsung Galaxy S III. It didn’t take long for AT&T to drop the price to an attractive $99, unfortunately the mobile tech world moves at lightspeed, leaving the HTC One X in the dust.

AT&T isn’t letting Verizon’s LTE domination slow them down. Today they welcome eight new markets to their speedy LTE network — as well as an expansion in another. If you live in any of the areas listed below, you should now have AT&T LTE available to you (all you need now is a LTE device):

We knew it was going to happen, but now we have official confirmation from Samsung. The Galaxy Note II will be available on all of the major U.S. carriers starting sometime mid-November. Samsung has given itself a huge advantage by adopting a multi-carrier approach and I applaud them for that. It opens the door for a wider customer adoption and will certainly result in more sales (just look at the Galaxy S III).

If you’re looking to switch carriers or sign up for a new mobile plan, you’re going to want to check out this next offer from Amazon Wireless. Any new customer signing up on either AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, can pick themselves out a brand new 16GB Samsung Galaxy S III for $99. All you have to do is choose a carrier and color and you’ll be on your way to owning the best available Android smartphone at the lowest available price.

There’s plenty of deals going around today, some better than others, but all have to do with Android hardware. For starters, there’s about 7 hours left to pick up a 32GB Motorola XOOM 3G from Daily Steals.

While the Motorola XOOM might be considered the grandpa of Android tablets, it still has a bit of life to it, that is assuming Jelly Bean makes its way to the 3G version. We wouldn’t call it a steal, more of “something to consider.”
