It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Camera isn’t the only device landing on AT&T this Friday. The upgraded HTC One X+ along with the budget One VX will be available starting November 16 at the cost of $199.99 and $49.99 respectively. Of course those are subsidized prices, and come attached to a two-year contract.

The Jelly Bean touting Galaxy Camera from Samsung is finally making its way to AT&T. Announced back in August, this Samsung smartcamera features both 3G and 4G connectivity (with a data plan) as well as the buttery smooth Android 4.1 operating system. Set to hit shelves this Friday, AT&T will be offering the Galaxy Camera for $499.99 with or without a data plan.

You can now add AT&T to the list of U.S. carriers currently offering the Galaxy Note II. I know many of you have been waiting on this gargantuan, and now it can be yours for the subsidized price of $299.99. If you’re thinking about picking one up at full retail, expect to pay $649.99.

AT&T had the fastest 3G network in the country, but when it comes to 4G LTE service, they’ve been way behind Verizon. It looks like AT&T is finally ready to play catchup with Verizon though as they announced this morning that they plan to invest $14 billion into their LTE network over the next three years.

AT&T is calling their investment and LTE expansion plans, “Project Velocity IP,” and is hoping that the investment in the network will drive continued increases in revenues from existing products and services.

Communication during and after a devastating event such as Hurricane Sandy can be crucial. Not only does it open the lines between yourself and emergency personnel, but it also allows for loved ones to know how you are doing. That’s why AT&T and T-Mobile have entered into an agreement to enable roaming on their networks to customers of both companies in the New York/New Jersey area affected by hurricane Sandy.
