LG G2 Snap

Yesterday, LG unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the G2, and also announced that it will be coming to Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and all key U.S. carriers. Today Sprint has made an official announcement offering the G2 on its 4G LTE unlimited plans later this year, but unfortunately the carrier did not provide us with any pricing or availability information.

AT&T has yet again expanded its super fast LTE network – by activating 4G in 6 new locations, as well as extending LTE coverage in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. The announcement was made today in a series of sequential press releases on the carrier’s website.

There has been a lot of supposition indicating that the HTC One Mini is on its way to AT&T, and now we have received solid evidence suggesting that the device could be available to purchase from the Telecommunications giant in the not to distant future.

Verizon Share Everything

Verizon has furtively added another option to its lower-cost smartphone schemes by introducing a 500MB data package for its “Share Everything” plans. These bundles offer a single package of data, unlimited calls, and texts across a number of devices.

The most head scratching feature of the new Moto X is that it’s running Android 4.2.2 instead of the new 4.3 that was released last week, even though Motorola is owned by Google and theoretically should have early access to new Android software before it comes out.

If you’re bummed about not getting the latest and greatest version of Jelly Bean right out the gate with the Moto X, Google has some splendid news: it’s making a Google Play edition of the Moto X that will be available “soon.”
