Earlier today, we reported that it looked like Moto Maker was about to make its debut on Verizon and other carriers following AT&T’s period of exclusivity, and now it’s all official.

Motorola announced in a blog post this morning that Moto X customization is now available through all major U.S. carriers, including Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. The company has also dropped the price of the device to just $99.

AT&T’s exclusivity on Moto Maker for the Moto X appears to be close to an end after the customization tool popped up on Verizon’s website over the weekend. Recent rumors have claimed that Moto Maker will be available through other carriers from this week, and Verizon’s apparent slip-up seems to confirm that.

Best Buy has officially announced that starting Monday, November 18, it will be offering an exclusive “Blue Arctic” edition of Samsung’s former flagship Galaxy S4. Pre-orders for the special edition handset start on Sunday, November 10, and you’ll be able to pick one up for use on either AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.

Back when AT&T first started rolling out its nationwide LTE network in late 2011, it was at least a year behind Verizon. In fact, when the third-gen iPad launched with LTE last year, we were hard pressed to recommend an AT&T model simply because LTE coverage was so lame compared to Verizon.

But things have changed. Thanks to aggressive pushes into new markets, AT&T and Verizon are now pretty much nose-and-nose when total number of LTE markets is compared.

AT&T has officially launched its popular 4G LTE service in an another additional 14 new markets within the United States. The announcement was made in a series of press releases on the carriers website.
