iPhone owners are holding onto their smartphone a little bit longer than Samsung owners, and that appears to be helping the South Korean company catch up with Apple’s huge lead in marketshare.

Apple is still the world’s top manufacturer, but a new survey of smartphone owners found that 33% of iPhone users still have a device that’s more than two years old, while only 30% of Samsung owners are still using a two-year old model.

Google is developing a brand new virtual reality headset for smartphones that will boast deeper integration with its Android software, according to a new report.

The device is expected to be a Cardboard successor that features a better design made out of plastic, plus new lenses, sensors, and more.

Apple today updated the official Apple Music app for Android to add support for saving offline music to SD card on Android devices.

Alto’s Adventure, the hit snowboarding game on iOS and Apple TV, is headed to the Android platform February 11.

Android gamers will, by and large, have the same gaming experience as their iOS brethren with one significant difference: this new release will be free on Android while it remains $2.99 on iOS.
